The Feed: Time to Buy…. the musical

The Feed is going all out for its 2022 return with a musical extravaganza, Time to Buy.

Time to Buy is a musical about buying a house that’s as ridiculous and surreal as the housing market itself.

The Feed comedy team Vic Zerbst, Jenna Owen, and Alex Lee tell the story of two millennials trying to navigate the Australian housing market.

They are joined by an array of special guests including TikTok sensation (and Triple J Hottest 100 favourite) Tom Cardy, who has written seven new songs especially for the occasion, Montaigne (Eurovision), Susie Youssef (The Project), Marty Alix (Hamilton) and Rob Carlton (Paper Giants).

‘Time to Buy’ is the story of Jo (Vic Zerbst) and Erin (Montaigne) who are trying to buy their first home. The key word being trying – if only it was that simple. But they’ve reached their breaking point with renting. Between the cramped conditions, their terrible housemate (Jenna Owen), and their terrible housemate’s pet snake, they decide it’s time – time to buy. It’s time to take the plunge into Australia’s ridiculous property market, but how will they manage it?
