“All of the COVID, yet none of the symptoms”

ABC's Nate Byrne is working from home, still presenting the weather for News Breakfast viewers from iso.

ABC News Breakfast weather presenter Nate Byrne is the latest to be impacted by COVID-19 in Breakfast Television.

“I’m WFI (working from isolation) for the rest of the week. I seem to have ALL of the COVID, yet none of the symptoms…but the weather is turning, so I wouldn’t be anywhere other than on @BreakfastNews,” he tweeted.

Byrne tested on Monday and returned a “roaring COVID-positive” result he said today.

COVID cases have dogged Sunrise, Today and News Breakfast (and assorted other productions) over the past week as case numbers rise in both New South Wales and Victoria.

Byrne still covered the weather for ABC viewers telling his co-presenters he was “100% fighting fit. I’m not able to be with you, sadly, but ready to go, especially weather-wise.”

  1. Hope Nate returns soon.

I just realised Graham Creed finished up a month ago doing the ABC 7pm Sydney bulletin weather after 14 years. Did I miss this announcement on TVT?

      1. I saw his job come up on the ABC careers page so I googled and:
