There are wedding bells this week in Summer Bay.

Emotions are high in the wake of the devasting news that Mia’s (Anna Samson) incarcerated fiancé, Ari Parata (Rob Kipa-Williams), is dying from a rare and aggressive form of cancer. With the shocking, grave prognosis and the realisation that Ari is on borrowed time, Mia is determined to marry the man she loves now more than ever.

Donning her wedding dress and walking down the hospital ward, with daughter Chloe (Sam Barrett) by her side as bridesmaid, Mia forges ahead with her plans for a surprise, impromptu, hospital-room wedding.

With Ari’s condition quickly deteriorating, will he get to celebrate what should be the happiest day of his life with the woman he loves?
