Networks to broadcast Shane Warne State Memorial Service
Nine, Seven, 10, ABC News and Foxtel all expected to broadcast memorial next week.

TV networks are planning to Live broadcast the Shane Warne State Memorial Service next Wednesday night.
Nine and ABC News have confirmed they will screen the event, while Seven has a very obvious TBA in its schedule. 10 is also understood to be planning to broadcast the service.
FOX Cricket channel also has a Sports Special scheduled and the Victorian State Government will also Live stream it.
The service will commence at 7pm AEDT and expected to run for approximately two hours.
Full details are yet to be confirmed.

While it’s great to see networks celebrating the life of Shane, im very surprised to see no one offering an alternative on mainstream FTA.
Shane Warne is such a huge icon, he deserves blanket coverage celebrating his life.
The digital channels or streaming is the alternative.
I disagree. I don’t it’s something that requires a broadcast road block across all channels, but nobody wants to be the one that didn’t run it, and even though it’s commercial-free, they’re all still vying for market share on the night.
