Poor Nat Barr battles Oscars red carpet
Not even Tim Tams was enough for Natalie Barr to coax interviews on the Oscars red carpet.

Oh Nat Barr… your very first Red Carpet interviews at the Oscars was surely a baptism of fire.
“One thing I’m learning as an Oscars red carpet first timer is that some people stop for you, some people really couldn’t care less, so I’m riding off the coat-tails of … shall we say two more experienced people,” she told The Morning Show.
Proceeding to mistake Venus Williams for Serena… it was all downhill, live on air.
Even the lure of a Tim Tam wasn't enough for @sunriseon7 host @natalie_barr to tempt @serenawilliams or @Venuseswilliams for an #oscars red carpet chat!

Probably would have been better off sending the Cadh Cow.
I think the cash cow’s been given the flick. Haven’t seen him all year.
Clearly Sunrise hasn’t made friends or aren’t established with the stars. A bit embarrassing and desperate. The reporters have to establish themselves in the scene. They would have walked past to the familiar ET, E!, Perez Hilton, TMZ and other reporters, maybe a couple of known British reporters too. Where they can get publicity. Agree with Richard Wilkins and Angela Bishop not having that problem. Probably also Richard Reid could report on the red carpet without issues.
This is hilarous! Show’s it’s not an easy gig at all.
I remember Eddy Bartholomew had a similar problem a few years back. Give them back to 9. I don’t remember Richard Wilkins ever having that problem or Angela bishop either. They’re seasoned entertainment reporters & all the celebritiees know them.
It wasn’t a great location for her to be standing and it doesn’t help that most of the stars had no idea who she is.
Embarrassing. Then 7 in Brisbane couldn’t even show it live on FTA channel.
Oh dear…hard work for even a seasoned interviewer….
