UK political drama Cobra has its Free to Air premiere next week on SBS.

This is a 6 part drama which features Robert Carlyle, Victoria Hamilton & Richard Dormer. It screened on Pay TV in 2020 (review is here). A second season was renewed.

As widespread power outages cause chaos and threaten lives across the country, the COBRA committee, comprised of the UK’s leading experts and politicians, gathers to find a way to turn the lights back on.

Episode One:
The British Prime Minster deals with infighting in his cabinet, damaging press leaks and his daughter’s graduation. He then faces a major solar storm that affects most of Europe, and has the potential to send them all back into the Dark Ages.
