Renewed: SWAT

US police drama S.W.A.T. has been renewed for a sixth season.

The renewal news comes just as the series is about to celebrate its 100th episode, “The Fugitive.”

The show stars Shemar Moore, Stephanie Sigman, Lina Esco, Kenny Johnson, Peter Onorati and Aussie Alex Russell.

Russell recently told TV Tonight, he had no plans to part company anytime soon.

“In the words of Patrick St. Esprit who plays Commander Hicks, ‘I’ll ride that wave to the beach!’ It’s been the most incredible opportunity.”
