Rebooted sci-fi series 4400 has been axed after just a single season.
The cast featured Brittany Adebumola, Joseph David-Jones, Ireon Roach and TL Thompson.
The original series The 4400 ran for four seasons from 2004 – 2007 and starred Aussies Jacqueline McKenzie & Jenni Baird, Joel Gretsch, Peter Coyote, Billy Campbell and a younger Mahershala Ali.
It screened in Australia on Paramount+.

I’m not sure why The 4400 was considered worthy of being rebooted especially when the main characters provided little continuity with the 2004 version, which some 4400 fans may have been interested in revisiting. This story arc has had a good run, as also had ‘The Returned’, a similar show which was made in both France and the USA.
Not surprised…it really was no where near as good as the original.
