For All Mankind: trailer

In season 3, the Red Planet becomes the new frontier in the Space Race not only for the U.S. & Soviet Union, but also an unexpected new entrant.

A full trailer has been released for the third season of For All Mankind, coming to Apple TV+ in June.

The trailer sees the alternate-reality series jump ahead nearly ten years, moving into the early ‘90s with a high-octane race to a new planetary frontier: MARS.

The ten-episode season includes Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey Johnson, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt, along with new series regular Edi Gathegi who will play ‘Dev Ayesa,’ a charismatic visionary with his sights set on the stars.

In season three, the Red Planet becomes the new frontier in the Space Race not only for the U.S. and the Soviet Union, but also an unexpected new entrant with a lot to prove and even more at stake. Our characters find themselves going head-to-head as their ambitions for Mars come into conflict and their loyalties are tested, creating a pressure cooker that builds to a climactic conclusion.

“For All Mankind” is created by Emmy Award-winner Ronald D. Moore, and Emmy Award nominees Ben Nedivi & Matt Wolpert. Nedivi & Wolpert serve as showrunners, and executive produce alongside Moore and Maril Davis of Tall Ship Productions, as well as David Weddle, Bradley Thompson and Nichole Beattie. “For All Mankind” is produced by Sony Pictures Television.

Weekly from Friday, 10 June on Apple TV+.

  1. I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons. For those of us who were intrigued by the space race, this is must watch television. That being said each season is diverging away from reality at a greater pace than the season before, so it will be interesting to see where they go in season 4, assuming we do get future seasons.
