Season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under will premiere on Stan in late July.
RuPaul, Michelle Visage and Rhys Nicholson return to critique and mentor a new slew of outrageously fierce and fabulous queens from Australia and New Zealand -but the new cast of queens competing are yet to be announced, along with special guest stars.
The Stan Original Series RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under is a World of Wonder production in collaboration with Warner Bros. International Production New Zealand for Stan and TVNZ. Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, RuPaul Charles and Tom Campbell serve as Executive Producers. Passion Distribution will distribute the series globally in line with Passion Distribution and WOW’s distribution strategy.
Saturday 30 July on Stan.

Finally we have an airdate! I still think RuPaul is not the right host for our version – our humour and references went over her head at times. They should get Courtney Act instead.
I am hoping series 2 is a improved….. well that wont be hard.
I wish they’d give it to the team behind MasterChef / Lego Masters. They know how to make an Aussie version of a franchise we can be proud of!
