Law & Order: SVU: update

Bad news SVU fans....

More bad news for those aggrieved Law & Order: SVU fans (you know who you are)…

10 has made a late change and swapped tonight’s episode for a repeat of Shaun Micallef’s Brain Eisteddfod.

Last night the show drew 380,000 metro viewers but the huge audience that will be in for the Neighbours finale has proven too irresistable.

It’s now repeated at 9pm while SVU is out.

  1. Ten obviously don’t give two hoots about SVU fans anymore so they should just move the show to 10Bold and be done with it. Forget about first run programming on their man channel.

  2. I don’t know why Ten can’t find a time during the year where they can screen more than 4 new eps without dropping it or just putting on repeats! Who remembers when Ten promised I think it was 8 eps of House in a row, this is what we need with SVU Dedicated fans like me. Also why can’t we watch recent seasons on tenplay?

  3. There are four episodes left in the current season of SVU (season 23). Unless 10 runs double episodes for the next two weeks, the season won’t be completed before Gogglebox returns on August 25.

I sympathise with fans of SVU who have seen new episodes of their favourite show bumped off the schedule for Gogglebox, MasterChef MasterClass, or repeats of other shows over the past few years. I agree with Mike that 10 should just sell off the rights to SVU to Nine.

  4. Thanks for the heads up David

I feel like this is the third time they’ve scheduled this episode to play only to pull it from the schedule & replace it with something else. Really frustrating they keep doing this, especially when it is to be replaced with encores of other shows or reruns of SVU. Why can’t they just air the remainder of the season & replace one of their rerun slots with their encores? Or move SVU to Tuesday nights so they can have Thursday for the encores? It isn’t like we have to have the endless supply of NCIS reruns they air on that night…

  5. **David do you know when the re-established Original law and order will air in Australia and what network???

Why do Ten use law and order as a play toy
It’s like what Nine did to shows like the West Wing and others

Ten should give up the rights and allow Nine who must have a deal with NBC to air the other L&O franchise
