Another Munsters reboot is on the way, this time from director Rob Zombie (House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects).
The feature film stars Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Zombie’s wife, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster and Dan Roebuck as Grandpa Munster.
Zombie first announced the film last year, calling it the project he’s been chasing for 20 years. Since then, he’s routinely teased the movie with social media posts, depicting set blueprints, the clay sculpture which would serve as the basis for Herman’s forehead prosthetic and more.
Amongst the remakes The Munsters Today ran from 1988 to 1991, Here Come the Munsters (1995) when the original cast only had cameos, and Mockingbird Lane in 2012 with Jerry O’Connell, Portia de Rossi, Eddie Izzard.
The film will be released in September by Universal 1440 Entertainment, a production arm of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group.

it looks like it was shot on an iPhone
The imagery is great but woah, that script! Cheesy as, and not in a good way.
Anyone else get the idea that the “film” was written and produced by Rob Zombie??? At least the title music was good.
It has the feel of an advert for a real estate company, half expected when they were standing in front of the house for a: “Young couple madly in love, looking for your dream home, we can find it no matter what your dream is,” to come across as a voice over.
I loved the Munsters as a kid but this looks dreadful
This looks absolutely dreadful.
It looks like a porn parody.
