Yet another Munsters reboot is on the way, driven perhaps by the success of Wednesday?
The new reboot in development is currently titled 1313 a reference to the fictional address at 1313 Mockingbird Lane.
Variety reports the new show is described as a horror series that “lives and breathes within the Universal Monsterverse,” per the official logline. The project was developed by Aussie James Wan, Lindsey Anderson Beer, who serves as showrunnerm and Ingrid Bisu.
The last remake was 2022’s Munsters from director Rob Zombie with Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Zombie’s wife, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster and Dan Roebuck as Grandpa Munster.
The Munsters Today ran from 1988 to 1991, Here Come the Munsters (1995) with the original cast in cameos, and Mockingbird Lane in 2012 with Jerry O’Connell, Portia de Rossi, Eddie Izzard.
The Munsters originally aired between 1964 and 1966 and starred Fred Gwynne, Yvonne De Carlo, Al Lewis, Butch Patrick, and Pat Priest, with Beverly Owen in a handful of episodes.

You just will never find another Fred Gywne. Even when he played a straight role he seemed to be Herman Munster.
Land Of The Giants would be excellent on Netflix. They did attempt Lost in Space, but I don’t know what went wrong. It never came back.
The Rob Zombie movie is embarrassing. Time has proven that the originals are the best, although that first Brady Bunch film is a classic. Now when is Land Of The Giants getting the big screen treatment?
Is embarrassing for whom?
One assumes that this is attempting to ride the coat tails of the Wednesday Addams show-can’t see it working as there isn’t the fan base for it which is rather evidenced by the previous tries at it..
Love love loved the Munsters but if a remake must be done please get the casting right & respect the original show
