  1. I still don’t know why they don’t put the tennis on the main channel. Instead, Channel 9 persist with the informercials during the overnight. What they could have done is put the first four hours of the covreage on 9HD. Then at 5am, do a channel warning reminding viewers to continue watching the remainder of tennis, switch over to 9Gem.

    1. Yes they are the second match on after Serena Williams. Night session starts at 7pm NY time which is 9am here but the opening night has an opening ceremony so the start will be delayed. Then depending on how long the Williams match goes and if she loses there will definitely be some sort of tribute ceremony so could be looking at a 11am start for the Aussies.

  2. @harry potter…everything can change a bit,depending on courts clearing,but they’re showing kokki/kyrgios at arthur ashe 7pm et,which is 9am here.being in new york,that’s about as good a time as you’re gonna hope to get.the matches’ll kick off each day at 11am…1am here…so all the watching over here will mostly be before noon.but i love major tennis,and i’m old,so i get up early anyhow…lol

  3. The draw has just been released and Nick Kyrgios has been drawn to play his best mate and doubles partner Thanasi Kokkinakis. Wonder if it will be given a good timeslot for Australian viewers.
