TV history moment remembered at 10 studio
Kate Langbroek & son Lewis, who was breastfed on air in 2003, are back in the same studio.

Last night on Have You Been Paying Attention? panelist Kate Langbroek made mention of her son 19 year old Lewis sitting in the studio audience.
Lewis was the same baby she famously breastfed on air in 2003 during The Panel, in the same Como building studio.
Back then she caused quite a stir with media articles from Australia to the UK filing on the moment.
“Breastfed on live TV” declared The Age.
A Channel 10 spokeswoman said at the time viewer response to their switchboard had been mixed.
“It was definitely split,” she said.
“Some people where very supportive and very congratulatory of the program and others were of course having a bit of a hissy.”
According to the report the show finished with one of the panellists saying “we should probably let this young child get to bed”.
“Thanks for joining us and hopefully we will be back with Kate and more of this action,” he said.
More recently, Lewis turned up on Hughesy, We Have a Problem when mum Kate was a guest.

How times have changed. Kate fellated a sausage on this episode of HYBPA and there doesn’t seem to have been a scandal.
I was in the live audience of The Panel the night of the breastfeeding “incident”. I can’t believe that was almost 20 years ago.
