Airdate: Dahmer on Dahmer: A Serial Killer Speaks

Investigative US journalist, Nancy Glass, secured the first televised interview with Jeffrey Dahmer.

The first episode of documentary series Dahmer on Dahmer: A Serial Killer Speaks has dropped this week on hayu.

This is a two-part series featuring in-depth interviews with, among others, Jeffer Dahmer’s father, stepmother, former classmates, psychiatrists who testified at his trial, and a homicide detective involved in the investigation.

Twenty-five years ago, Milwaukee resident Jeffrey Dahmer was tried and convicted of 17 gruesome murders, shaking the public’s perception of evil to its core. The shocking nature of his crimes – luring young men into his home, where he drugged, sexually violated, killed and eventually consumed his victims – unmasked a madman walking in the shadows and launched the question: how did a once mild-mannered, handsome young man become one of history’s most terrifying and unexpected serial killers?

During his time behind bars, one of America’s leading investigative journalists, Nancy Glass, secured both exclusive access and the first televised interview with Dahmer, developing a candid relationship in which he divulged the darkest details of his life and crimes. This series offers a fresh look at the infamous serial killer’s life through the eyes of the woman who became his closest confidant.

Part 1 now on hayu.

  1. Same old chestnut dragged out from the bottom of the compost heap, just one of many different versions, really don’t these streaming services even consider enough of the same old same old. Bad enough Netflix has just dropped one too. Enough of the true crimes don’t we have enough happening as I write this, curiosity is a good money spinner for entertainment purposes.
