“An amazing experience”: end in sight for Mad as Hell

"Yesterday was the final official day of Location Filming for Mad As Hell...."

The team at Mad as Hell are feeling the end of production now less than two weeks away.

Director Jon Olb from Hitmaker Studios posted on social media, “Yesterday was the final official day of Location Filming for Mad As Hell.

“From the office to the crew, it’s been an amazing experience with a team that has punched well above its weight in terms of resources. Illness stymied the entire brilliant cast being present, but what they, and former cast members and guests have achieved is nothing short of astounding.

“All of course under the supervision of the man himself, Shaun Micallef, who was too busy steering the ship to visit location often, though his fingerprints were all over each frame. And a special shout-out to Ken Hardie (and of course Ben) who edited the bulk of those sketches.

“There are still two wonderful episodes of the series to run, where the Production Team, led by Peter Beck, will continue to pull out all stops for final brilliant episodes. Thanks for allowing me to be part of this amazing experience…..”

The final episode screens on September 21 on ABC.

  1. This is going to leave a big gap in my viewing schedule having being one of my must watch for so long. I had my doubts about whether or not it was going to be as good after a change of govt but its been better than ever. Hard to believe its been going for a decade & a shame its ending not long after that change of govt which had been in power for most of the shows run.
