Human Error inspired by criminal conspiracy

As part of the Nine Upfronts this week were further details of the upcoming drama, Human Error to be filmed in Melbourne.

Inspired by actual events, the series, follows Detective Holly O’Rourke and her homicide team as a seemingly open-and-shut murder investigation threatens to destroy her career, her family, and her faith in justice. As she scrambles to redeem her personal and professional reputation, Holly and her team uncover a criminal conspiracy that will change their lives forever.

Screen Australia’s Head of Content Grainne Brunsdon said, “We’re thrilled to support this gripping modern drama from accomplished screenwriters Samantha Winston, Greg Haddrick and Gregor Jordan who have created Australia’s next iconic screen character in the tenacious Detective Holly O’Rourke. From award-winning producers Dan and John Edwards and inspired by real events, Human Error is set to hook viewers on Channel 9 and 9Now next year.”

From the creative talents behind Underbelly, Bump, Offspring and Love My Way, the series is produced by John Edwards, Dan Edwards, Greg Haddrick and Samantha Winston, with The Age crime reporter John Sylvester (Underbelly) as story consultant.
