Perth Telethon 2022: Oct 22 / 23

The countdown to the 55th edition of Telethon is on. Can Telethon 2022 smash last year’s record-breaking tally of $62 million?

A mammoth 26-hour event will broadcast Live on Channel 7 Perth and stream nationally on 7plus from its new home at RAC Arena with a Family Festival in the surrounding street.

The broadcast commences 7.00pm Saturday with the Opening Show featuring live entertainment, interviews, donations and performances from  Ricki-Lee, Ella Hooper, The Voice 2022 winner Lachie Gill, Human Nature’s Phil Burton and more.

Other live performers across the weekend include Hoodoo Gurus, Matt Evans, Casey Barnes and Timomatic.

The telecast continues through Saturday night and into Sunday with music, games, entertainment, celebrity panels, crosses to the call centre.

Telethon will break for 7NEWS at 6.00pm Sunday, before the Closing Show kicks off ahead of the grand finale and final tally announcement.
