New UK drama Maxine, which dramatises a double murder that shocked the nation, screens next week on BritBox.

Starring Natalie Britton (Them) and upcoming talent Jemma Carlton, this aired in the UK in October.

This three-part drama series follows the investigation of school assistant Maxine Carr and her caretaker fiancé Ian Huntley, who were imprisoned for the murders of schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman. The events are retold through the eyes of Maxine, who provided a false alibi to cover the chilling murder.
