“I will still be doing 60 Minutes stories”

Sarah Abo may have ticked her first week as new Today co-host, but she also plans to be seen on 60 Minutes this year.

“I’ll still be doing it, absolutely,” she told TV Tonight.

“Not to the same extent. Less travel, but where I can, I will still be doing 60 Minutes stories. There’ll be some follow ups coming up with 60 Minutes as well. Stories I’ve already done in the past, I’ll continue to follow.

“As you know, Karl does 60 Minutes, so this is what we’ve done for years. Ally’s also done 60 Minutes while she was hosting. So I think it’s a really good combination, because we are versatile in that respect.

“We can flick from being a host of the breakfast show to doing more serious sit-down interviews.”
