Updated: Mayor of Kingstown star is in “critical but stable condition" following a snow plowing accident.

Mayor of Kingstown star Jeremy Renner is in “critical but stable condition” following a snow plowing accident.

Deadline reported he suffered injuries on Sunday following a weather related accident while plowing snow. While the location of the accident was not confirmed, Renner has a home near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, about 40km from Reno. The state saw a winter storm hit on New Year’s Eve that resulted in some 35,000 homes losing power.

Renner, who also stars in Marvel’s Hawkeye, was airlifted to hospital. His spokesperson said he is “receiving excellent care.”

Mayor of Kingstown begins its second season January 16th on Paramount+.

Update: Renner is now out of surgery after suffering blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries in a weather-related accident. He remains in the intensive care unit in “critical but stable condition,” according to his representation.
