Hard Quiz returns, Nine wins Wednesday.

MAFS was the #1 show on television last night, with Nine winning from 7pm onwards.

Married at First Sight continues to dominate Overnight viewing, last night as the #1 show on television.

MAFS pulled 836,000 metro viewers, eclipsing the return of Hard Quiz on ABC at 492,000 then 7:30 (430,000), The Dog House (325,000), and Code 1: Minute by Minute (234,000).

Later Under Investigation was 415,000 for Nine at 9pm, ahead of The Weekly‘s return at 396,000 then The Front Bar (233,000) both at 8:30pm. My Grandparent’s War on SBS was 123,000 but ahead of Fire Country at just 100,000 on 10.

  1. I’m sure last night’s Hard Quiz was a repeat. The opening had contestants home state, Tom didn’t say when about to read out the last of their specialty questions and neuroscience has already been done as Tom’s subject.

  2. yeah, i don’t think Code 1 will stay in that slot very long. Seven can’t afford those numbers for very long. Shows like that should be on later 8;30 or after. Seven needs a good comedy lighthearted series as a point of difference.

  3. Seven are in a world of trouble. Code 1 flops, Front Bar flops outside Victoria. Nine are killing them and now the MAFS halo effect is hurting them more than ever with 60 Minutes, Big Miracles, The Hundred and now Under Investigation all benefiting and dominating from 9-10pm.

  4. Wednesday primetime looks like a free pass for Nine (no Survivor/Idol). I hope I am not too premature to predict this but the 1st quarter ratings period is pretty much a write off, especially for Seven. How the tables have turned – once upon a time, MKR used to be the powerhouse. Not sure what’s the next ‘big thing’ to give MAFS some real competition.

P.S. I love the cover photo. This site has some really interesting photos to complement the news articles. A recent MAFS photo almost made me want to watch the show!
