I have minimal interest in Aussie Idol, then again I’m over talent quest shows especially as the winners of those programs never go on to have long lasting musical careers, so what’s the point of investing in following a certain singer you liked in the auditions for instance?
As others have noted, Seven have major problems with their lineup post 7.30 PM, more so than Ten in my opinion(and it is Channel Ten who usually get all the brickbats thrown at them here).
MAFS I just avoid, not interested in confected soap opera and yet another supposed cheating scandal.
Australian Idol is the best of the 3 current reality shows by miles, and love him or hate him, George makes for good viewing.
Another Seven drama that will probably be bumped to a later time slot in weeks to come. Only way to watch any drama is via a streaming service
More bad news for Seven with The Good Doctor flopping and Marcia Hines’ return to Idol not resulting in any major lift.
I feel the under 30s contestants don’t have a clue who she used to be.
She used to be Marcia. She’s still Marcia. Goddess.
Yes and far superior to all the judges there currently. Heart and not there for the money!
The Good Doctor didn’t flop, but it didn’t get much of lift from Idol, and it will pick up regional, streaming and +7 viewings. There isn’t a drama on TV rating better. only Home & Away a local soap which does a lot better.
Vera, Death in Paradise, Call the Midwife, Midsomer Murders all higher.
