Canadian crime drama A Criminal Affair and Swedish comedy Sick both debut this Thursday at SBS On Demand.
A Criminal Affair

A Criminal Affair tells the tragic story of a mother who has spent 15 years trying to exonerate her son who was incarcerated for a murder he didn’t commit. It’s also the story of a Major Crimes Unit detective who always suspected that someone close to him was involved in the killing but had remained silent. Stars Céline Bonnier, Louis Philippe Dandenault and Maxime-Olivier Potvin. A Criminal Affair will air at a later date on SBS.

When 26-year-old Alice (Carla Sehn) survives cervical cancer, she is eager to resume her life afresh in London just to realise it has all fallen apart during her treatment. Broke, and recently dumped by her boyfriend (who fell in love with a receptionist at the hospital) she is forced to move back to Sweden and in with her family. Stars Maria Nohra, Dejmis Rustom and Anna Blomberg.
