Unsold Block home finally sells

House 3 in Gisborne finally sells three months after auction.

The house Dylan and Jenny renovated on The Block 2022 has finally sold, three months after it was passed in failing to reach the reserve of $4,080,000.

House 4 was one of two properties not sold on auction day along with House 3, which was sold a week later.

“We can confirm House 4 has sold on The Block: Tree Change in Gisborne, in what is a positive outcome for everyone,” a Nine spokesperson told 9Now.

“Dylan and Jenny’s house is now a much loved property for a family who were impressed with the high standard of the build, and incredible views of the Macedon Ranges so close to Melbourne.

“All five properties on the most ambitious build in the history of The Block have now been sold. We look forward to starting the build on the next series of Channel 9’s The Block very soon.”

A price was not detailed nor any winnings for the contestants.

Ankur and Sharon’s house sold the following week to entrepreneur Adrian Portelli.

Omar and Oz won the series with a huge profit of $1,586,666.66 and $100,000 in prize money for winning.

  1. Hopefully Nine “read the room” and use houses that are more affordable to more buyers, rather than relying on the whim of basically one buyer….. which also makes a mockery of all the judges comments and scores throughout the whole season.

      1. Agree with your comment 100% David.

Potentially The network lowered the reserve so they (contestant) could make some profit given the time passed? Ofc this wouldn’t be fair to other contestants, hence the not mentioning. Never say never?..
