Jason Derulo joins The Voice

US R&B / Hip hop singer songwriter replaces Keith Urban in Seven talent quest.

US R&B / Hip hop singer songwriter Jason Derulo is joining The Voice this year, replacing Keith Urban.

He joins Jessica Mauboy, Rita Ora and Guy Sebastian. on the Seven series, hosted by Sonia Kruger.

Derulo, whose songs include Talk Dirty, Ridin’ Solo, Whatcha Say and Savage Love, was briefly a judge on 10’s short-lived Everybody Dance Now, axed in 2012 after 4 episodes. But be boasts more than 57 million followers and has sold more than 250 million singles worldwide,.

“I’ve always loved The Voice and Australia happens to be one of my favourite places in the world. I can’t wait to hear all the amazing talent down under!” he said.
