Neighbours cast still awaiting production details

Neighbours cast are yet to be given a starting date for production to resume, or details on storylines.
Alan Fletcher, currrently on tour in the UK, told TV Tonight,”Fortunately, I know nothing. All I know is what has been announced in the media. Everyone’s very tight-lipped about about the future for the show.”
Fletcher liked the huge job of restarting production to a decomissioned cruiseliner having to be taken from dry dock and returned to sea.
“The task is so large, that they just have to step by step work their way through that. So we haven’t got specific deadlines on anything at the moment that we’re aware of. But we will of course start filming reasonably soon enough after we get back from the from this tour. An on-air date is very vague, but certainly by the latter part of 2023, people will have Neighbours back on their screens.”
10 has indicated a Spring screening, followed a week later by Prime Video.

I hope Neighbours returns to the main channel at 6.30. Or as weird as this sounds 6pm. If would have to rate more than 10s 6pm part of the news.
I can’t wait until it comes back. Neighbours should never have left.

I think neighbours had one of the best, if not The best finale’ of any long running show. Having grieved the ending of the show, this all seems anti-climactic. I will follow it when it comes back, though. I will be very surprised if it ends up going beyond the two seasons contracted.
This ended and should have stayed ended as no one seems to know anything about the start of it all ,seems pointless to me after the big farewell.

Not at all , but the fact that no definite start date for production let alone the actors being kept in the dark without any real clue says somethings a bit odd to me , read Stevie Gs comment.
