10 last night unveiled its first trailer for MasterChef Australia: Secrets & Surprises, coming to screens in May.
Judges Jock Zonfrillo, Andy Allen and Melissa Leong coud be seen with a selection of new contestants in a garden maze, teasing surprises around every corner.
In a trimmed season this year there are just 18 aprons on offer, down from the usual 24, who will face off before each other and guest chefs in their quest for the title of MasterChef Australia 2023.
The series is set to succeed I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

Its good to see that MasterChef won’t have as many competitors this year. The show has become rather long in the tooth, and fewer competitors should help to speed it up and make it more watchable.
Interesting strategy 10 is talking this year, announcing airdates way in advance for I’m A Celebrity and now Masterchef
Always excited for MC
Love the promo.
Unless cannibalism’s become legal overnight, don’t really see that many “surprises” left in the Cook-Off tank.
Hmm……..gives the impression they have concerns about it succeeding ?
I feel like it’s an uncharacteristically lacklustre promo from 10 with MasterChef. It looks and feels very similar to previous years tbh.
