Wellmania cast attend Sydney screening

Netflix last night held a cast and friends screening of new Celeste Barber series Wellmania at Event Cinemas, Bondi Junction.

In attendance with Barber were Genevieve Mooy, Lachlan Buchanan, Alexander Hodge, JJ Fong, Remy Hii, Johnny Carr, and Virginie Laverdue.

They were joined by Greg Woods CEO Fremantle Australia, Que Minh Luu Director of Content Netflix ANZ, Co-Creator and author of Wellmania Brigid Delaney, Co-Creator and Co-Executive Producer Benjamin Law, actors Miranda Otto, Bryn Chapman Parish and performer Shane Jenek.

Barber stars as food writer Liv, who scores a dream job in the USA but loses her green card and is banned from re-entering the States unless she fixes her health.

Throwing herself body-first into a wellness journey, she tries everything from the benign to the bizarre in an attempt to get well quick.

Wellmania premieres today on Netflix.
