It stars Dominic Mariche (Are You Afraid of the Dark?), Phoebe Rex (The Last Divide) and Calem MacDonald (The Umbrella Academy).

Is this the new standard for kids entertainment, perhaps it is, especially for those viewers just reaching puberty, personally I’m not quite sure what some showrunners and producers think they are doing recently, surely if you make shows featuring kids of various ages (even animated shows) there should be some limitations regarding themes. Stranger Things did set the sci–fi bar with their version of 70’s – 80’s schlock horror helped along by a better budget, but the writers did keep the adult themes measured at least until the final two seasons when the story became darker, the same thing happened with the Harry Potter movies as well.
    The audience for both creative products matured with the actors themselves.
