Neighbours secures Ramsay St location, Lucinda Cowden returns.

As cameras roll once more, there were two key announcements at last night's Neighbours Celebration show in Melbourne.

Neighbours begins production today in Melbourne for Network 10 and Amazon Freevee / Prime Video with confirmation it has secured the location of its ‘Ramsay Street’ home, Pin Oak Court in Vermont South.

The news was revealed at last night’s Neighbours: The Celebration stage show in Melbourne.

But it isn’t clear if there are any exclusions and some homes have undergone changes by their owners.

April Rose Pengilly explained, “People had been under contract for years so if they wanted to get a new fence it had to get approved. But when contracts lapsed they all went ‘Great, renovation time!'”

Actor Lucinda Cowden also confirmed the return of Melanie Pearson, who married Toadie in the season finale.

“She’s comin’ back!” she announced.

“It’s (been) so hard not to share. People were just fighting for me, and I just want to say thank you to you all,” she said to the fans.”

Last night’s event, hosted by Jennifer Hansen, also included Alan Fletcher, Annie Jones, Ian Smith, Anne Charleston and Tim Kano.

        1. I just had a look on You Tube, and I’d say it was fan made. Toadies kids are listed with the original actors names. They have been aged a re-cast for Neighbours 3.0.

          1. Very interesting on the re-casting of the kids – I guess that suggests there will be a significant jump in time that’s more than just the year since we left Ramsay Street?

  1. Would have been great to attend the stage show, I wonder if they filmed them to post on YouTube?
Speaking of the house renovations, the most recent updates I have seen via Instagram is #22 has had the entire front garden ripped out and the balcony rebuilt, now painted black, plantation shutters in all the windows, and a small timber deck running along the front entrance.
The Kennedy house had had a window removed on the front left side of the house to gain access to fully gut the interior of the real-life space occupying the lounge/dining/kitchen spaces. I assume there will be some strategic camera angles and older establishing shots used until the renovations are complete.
