Yes finally! We know it always returns around the same time as Masterchef.
Think we can assume “a time is yet to be confirmed” because it will be after MasterChef – anywhere between 8:45 and 9:30 is my guess. It’s so annoying when these reality shows have a floating runtime despite being pre-recorded months ago.
Regularly watch this and enjoy the topical humour, but I wish they’d get rid of the studio audience/laugh track. We don’t need to be told when to laugh. Breakfast radio manages just fine without canned laughter.
There’s no canned laughter, it’s a studio audience.
I like the Working Dog audience laugh tracks. You can sometimes hear the same regulars laughing in the background every week. I assume they are staff or very keen fans.
Glad it’s back, but oh lordy so long to wait for the season. It’s like a survival to see it come back.
Hope it is funnier than the promo & that these 2 stop laughing at their own ‘jokes’.
At least they are funny. The majority of Australian comedy is people laughing at things that are neither funny nor clever.
That’s their shtick. Exactly why the show works so well.
I thought the promo was good. A clever take on typical Australian TV news promos.
