Yellowstone tops the year in entertainment shows, stateside.

Yellowstone has topped the USA 2022- 2023 season as the top entertainment show according to a list published by Variety.

The Kevin Costner drama averaged 11.55m viewers per episode for Paramount Network, behind NFL Sunday Night Football in top position. In Australia the show screens on Stan.

Network 10 library titles NCIS, FBI were next best with Blue Bloods, Ghosts also in the Top 10.

Young Sheldon, which screens locally on 9GO!, was the top Comedy of the year.

Aussie-shot La Brea comes in at #51 with 4.75m viewers.

The list also includes Children’s TV meaning Bluey does not rate a mention in tbe Top 100. In April the show topped Neilsen’s list of acquired streaming shows at 737 million minutes for Disney+.

  1. So Sheldon is the top comedy of the year & yet never gets nominated for any awards. I’ve been baffled by that. It’s definitely funnier that the shows that were nominated & won.
