Auditions recently opened for Australian Idol which Seven is understood to be returning in 2024.
To audition you must be 15 to 30 years old (as of 1 October 2023) be an Australian citizen or current permanent resident, and not have an existing contract with any other TV show or record label.
Production by Eureka is set for 1st September 2023 to 31st March 2024 which suggests it will again lead Q1 for Seven.
Scott Tweedie and Ricki-Lee Coulter are returning but judges are yet to be confirmed.

Unbelievable! They’ve obviously given up on beating Married at First Sight completely now.
In a practical sense, seven don’t need to beat MAFS (which seems all but impossible in any event until the public tire of it) rather just get decent numbers so the AFL (once it starts of course) gets them the weekly win.
