Barry Du Bois facing driving charge

Former Living Room presenter attended court yesterday charged with driving while his license was suspended.

TV presenter Barry Du Bois appeared before Waverly Local Court yesterday charged with driving while his license was suspended.

The former Living Room presenter is yet to enter a plea.

According to the Daily Telegraph police allege he was driving by Eastern Suburbs Highway Patrol officers about 8.30am on May 17 in Bondi.

Court documents state the driving charge is the first he has faced.

Du Bois continues to battle cancer which remerged after a decade-long battle in 2017, and has attracted wide support from fans and colleagues.

The Living Room was ‘rested’ by 10 in late 2022 but since then fellow cast member Dr. Chris Brown has signed with Seven, raising questions about whether it will be revived by the network.
