Bachelors filming in Brighton

An 1850s Victorian residence becomes the Bachelors pad for upcoming dating season.

Filming of The Bachelors is taking place in Brighton, the Herald Sun reports.

The new Bachelor pad in Middle Crescent is an 1850s Victorian residence ‘dressed with hundreds of fairy lights, creating a romantic, twinkling arbour for the bachelors and their bachelorettes to emerge from or disappear through.”

The home, traded in 2015 for $6.4m, is set within resort style grounds with a swimming pool, a floodlit tennis court, six bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, an expansive alfresco entertaining terrace, a billiards room with bar and features towering ceilings and grand room sizes.

The house is said to be a ‘stone’s throw’ from one of the late Shane Warne’s trophy homes, and just a suburb or two away from The Block.

10’s upcoming season features three suitors, Wesley Senna Cortes, Ben Waddell and Luke Bateman.

Season 11 of The Bachelor franchise has VicScreen’s Victorian Screen Incentive and is produced by Warner Bros. Australia.
