Guest host Clint Stanaway on Nine's Vic travel show visits Abbotsford Convent, a local patisserie and beer garden.

This Sunday on Nine Victorian travel show, Postcards, Clint Stanaway is special guest host.

This week Nine presenter Clint Stanaway joins the show as a guest presenter to take viewers on a tour of Abbotsford (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country). We join him at the Abbotsford Convent, which is spread over six hectares and is Australia’s largest multi-arts precinct. Next stop is JC Patisserie Boulangerie for fabulous French pastries and great coffee. Here Clint catches up with Jonathan Camileri, the owner and pastry chef of the patisserie. He then zips over to Fat Nancy’s where diners can enjoy local beers on tap at the bar or something smokey to eat in the relaxed beer garden.

Just over an hour from Melbourne, Shane Delia explores Kyneton (Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurong Country), starting at Monsieur Pierre. Once a hotel and then a butcher shop more than 150 years ago, this venue is now a top cafe and produce store filled with specialty deli goods and tasty treats. After grabbing a coffee he meets Larina Strauch, secretary of the Kyneton Historical Society, which is dedicated to preserving the area’s rich history. Next, Shane gets his fill at Fook Shing with delicious Asian fusion food and cocktails while chatting with the owner, Robert Mariotti.

Todd Woodbridge is in North Melbourne (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country) enjoying a scrumptious matcha cheesecake at Palette, a cosy cafe that serves brunch options with a Korean twist. He moves on to Here’s Looking at You, Kid, a family-run, small-batch distillery where he meets its founder, Liz Beech. His day finishes at EziStreat, a 600-square metre, Asian-inspired food hall, with an Asian food feast and a catch-up with owner Yun Kim.

Meanwhile, Brodie Harper is in Maudsland on the Gold Coast (Bundjalung Country). She checks out the Gold Coast Motor Museum and meets Carl Amor, who started the museum with his brother as a tribute to their late dad, Denis. She decides to eat at Barrow, a tranquil dining spot that showcases classic Australian cuisine, and meets its owner, Jayla Tran. To finish, she showcases the stunning home up for grabs in the Mater Prize Home’s next draw and shares all the details on how to enter.

5.30pm Sunday on Nine (Melbourne) and 9Now.
