Former Big Brother contestant Xavier Molyneux will step into Neighbours as part of the reboot, recast in the role of Byron Stone, son of Jane Harris (Annie Jones).
The lawyer / male escort character was previously played by Joe Klocek.
Molyneux, who finished ninth in the 2020 season of Seven’s reality show, has previously featured in shorts Girl and Aussie of the Year with a minor role in upcoming feature Take My Hand.
His casting follows in the footsteps of former Big Brother star Blair McDonough, who joined the 10 soap plus other reality stars Axle Whitehead, Daniel O’Connor and Tim Robards.
The series returns in September.
We're very excited to announce that Xavier Molyneux will be taking on the role of Byron Stone.

Nothing against the new guy, but quite disappointing as Joe Klocek was stunning in the role of Jane’s secretly male escort son and was one of the highlights of the final year. The last new character introduced, no doubt he would have become a regular cast member had the show not finished up. I wonder why he wasn’t available?
Based on the comments section on social media, Joe now lives and works in London and didn’t want to return.
I literally remember thinking when watching his Big Brother season “this guy only wants to be on BB so he be on a home & away”, so I’m 90% right
Congrats to him, but I will always critique reality show casting for casting people who don’t want to be there for the game or experience of a particular show (especially if they were boring reality casting like Xavier)
