Old pics of Mother & Son and The Voice pervade Foxtel electronic programme guide.

Some Foxtel viewers might be in for a bit of a shock tuning into Mother & Son tonight to find Ruth Cracknell and Garry McDonald looking very different.

An image on its Electronic Programme Guide is in need of updating quick smart, with stars Matt Okine & Denise Scott (correctly described in listing) set to debut in the reimagined series.

Foxtel also shows a 2022 image of The Voice with Keith Urban still in the coach team, this year replaced by Jason Derulo.

I did report it to Foxtel with screenshots on 15th of this month…and I did mention it to you David in a post as well…this is not the first time Foxtel have fluffed up… I came across a BBC Earth doco of Sir David Attenborough with a picture of the Neighbours cast…sent them screenshots and they never bothered changing it…I’ve always said Foxtel have a problem knowing what the right hand does and the left hand doesn’t…this is and has been a problem with Foxtel for years and it doesn’t look like it ever going to get any better…I did receive an email to tell me they are having trouble with their app and some IQ3,4,5 and are working with customers to fix the various problems and to ask me to “remove the smart card” and advise the number which none of the new boxes have like the old boxes….you have to use the home button on the remote to access it….of dear! 😂

  3. It happens a fair bit on Fetch too.
    Bluey the cartoon used to have Lucky Grills’ Bluey for a while, and My Favourite Martian TV series would show Christopher Lloyd from the movie.

    1. Yes, Fetch is definitely as bad. I recorded Starstruck (the 2021 BBC comedy by Rose Matafeo). However the picture is from the 2022 reality show that screened on ITV (not sure if it ever screened in Australia).
