Renewed: For the Love of Pets

Animal series For the Love of Pets has been renewed by Nine and is now filming a second season in Queensland.

The 8 part series produced by Context Media, will follow a cast of characters at RSPCA Qld and QVS / Pet Emergency from vets performing life changing surgeries to the re-homing of animals each year.

RSPCA Queensland spokesperson Emma Lagoon says, “As a predominately community funded charity, our compassionate supporters help our dedicated staff and volunteers change lives every day. Closer to the city, Queensland Veterinary Services, a state-of-the-art specialty surgery and emergency hospital in Brisbane, tackles a never-ending flow of animals in need through their doors. From injured dogs to puppies raiding rubbish bins, newborn kittens fighting for their life, to rescued and injured wildlife, the vets and nurses at QVS Pet Emergency contend with it all. Using highly advanced medical equipment, the team is equipped to handle the most delicate and complex medical procedures that our beloved pets face.

For the Love of Pets Season 2 (8 x 1 hours) has been financed by Omnicom Media Group subsidiary, OMnet Australia for the 9Network Australia and is executive produced by Context Media’s Peter Jenetsky and Tim Clucas, alongside series producer, Ian Withnall.
