The Gang is ripping straight from the headlines as they yearn for the past and attempt to survive the year, navigating 2023 with 16 years of baggage and a few figures from their past rearing their heads. The show is produced by FX Productions.

I genuinely would have subscribed to Disney for this for 2 months when it actually aired US time. All caught up now though thanks anyway.
Really hope Disney+ stop showing such contempt for their Non-US Subscribers when it comes to shows they have the rights for which don’t get worldwide releases on their platform.
For comparison, FX shows that are currently owned by Foxtel/Binge like Dave and What We Do In The Shadows, release new episodes day and date with the US.
I feel like Disney is especially bad at this when compared with Netflix or Stan, correct me if I’m wrong?
A point I have raised before, and not been given adequate answers on.
I heard this is to do with the FX network deals (which includes The Bear) but doesn’t impact shows from other Disney subsidiaries, like Hulu for Only Murders.
Still not ideal when they’re trying to stop people pirating.
The animations are all over the place and released so randomly.
They still needlessly delayed the first season of How I Met Your Father which is a Hulu owned show. Thankfully they corrected this with day and date releases for the second season.
But you’re absolutely right, not ideal if you’re trying to stop pirating and churn of subscribers particularly when people are dealing with cost of living pressures and are looking for easy reason to cut costs.
