Paramount+ will premiere NCIS: Sydney in Australia on Friday November 10.
It will launch locally ahead of its US debut on CBS (Monday 13 November) with other Paramount+ markets to follow at a later date.
The NCIS: Sydney team will be led by NCIS Special Agent Michelle Mackey played by Olivia Swann (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The River Wild) and her 2IC AFP counterpart, Sergeant Jim “JD” Dempsey played by Todd Lasance (Without Remorse, Spartacus: War of the Damned).
They are joined by Sean Sagar (The Covenant, Mea Culpa) as NCIS Special Agent, DeShawn Jackson; Tuuli Narkle (Mystery Road: Origin, Bad Behaviour) as AFP Liaison Officer, Constable Evie Cooper; Mavournee Hazel (Shantaram, Halifax: Retribution) as AFP Forensic Scientist, Bluebird ‘Blue’ Gleeson and William McInnes (The Newsreader, Total Control) as AFP Forensic Pathologist, Dr Roy Penrose.
Filmed against the spectacular backdrop of one of the world’s most breathtaking harbour cities, NCIS: Sydney is the first-ever international series from the global NCIS franchise outside of the US, and sees rising international tensions in the Indo-Pacific. The brilliant and eclectic team of U.S. NCIS Agents and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) are grafted into a multi-national taskforce, to keep naval crimes in check, in the most contested patch of ocean on the planet.

If the Australian government is going to fund most of the production with taxpayers’ money, allow them to retain all the IP, stream it globally for a fee, then later show repeats on Ten so they don’t have to spend money and make an Australian show for Ten, why wouldn’t they do that? Given how poorly NCIS is written now days, and NCIS: Sydney announced a writers room of cheap interns highlighting their diversity, probably not missing out on anything. Seal Team was moved to Paramount+ from S6, it may never air on FTA as that would undermine that strategy.
Season 6 of Seal Team did air on 10 or Bold. They are currently showing repeats. My understanding is that most shows on Paramount+ will eventually air on ch 10.
The only name I know is William McInnes. Not paying to watch.
I hope it gets shown on Channel 10.
Why isn’t this on network 10?? I understand now why the other CEO’s laugh at the decisions channel 10 makes.
Disappointed to see this going to Paramount+. I assume it will eventually come to 10. Still waiting for the latest season of Seal Team to come to 10. It aired in the US ages ago.
