Grand Final Week on FOX Footy

The Longest Kick, Grand Final Parade, Grand Final Day Breakfast and more ahead of the big game.

As part of AFL Grand Final celebrations this week, FOX Footy screens the Longest Kick this Saturday hosted by Bounce’s Jason Dunstall, Andrew Gaze and Ben Dixon.

Events begin with AFL 360 Grand Final Special tonight plus coverage this weekend of Grand Final Day Parade, Bounce Grand Final Day Special, Grand Final Day Breakfast.

The Longest Kick has become a staple of Grand Final Day, with competitors attempting to boot the Sherrin as far as possible across the Yarra River.

Headlining the competitors is Hawthorn captain James Sicily, the man behind the “woof” Adam Saad, and Dogs young gun Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.

Not to be discounted Essendon speedster Mason Redman, Melbourne premiership player Trent Rivers, four-time premiership superstar Isaac Smith, and Brisbane left-footer Daniel Rich will also form the competition.

After taking home the chocolates in 2017 with a whopping 66.1m bomb, Fox FM’s Brendan Fevola will enter as a wildcard alongside podcaster Daniel Gorringe and Tasmanian Devil Arie Schoenmaker.

A yearlong campaign from social media sensations Marmalade to participate in the fan-favourite event has paid off, with the two footy fanatics Checkers and Srey putting boot to leather for the ceremonial kick.
