FOX Footy 2024 season launch

FOX Footy and Kayo Sports yesterday launched their upcoming 2024 AFL season, following an 11% year-on-year increase in streaming numbers.

Three-time Premiership star Jack Riewoldt will commentary during matches this season and will take up a Wednesday night residency on AFL 360. Journalists Gerard Whateley and Mark Robinson returning to anchor the desk at a new time slot of 6.30pm (Monday to Wednesday).

On The Couch – hosted by Garry Lyon and featuring Jonathan Brown and Nathan Buckley – will shift to 7.30pm on Monday nights, meanwhile a new panel show with a rotating suite of football journalists, Midweek Tackle, will air at 7.30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

General Manager, FOX Footy Michael Neill said, “We’re excited to shake things up and move AFL 360 to a primetime news slot so fans can get their breaking news, analysis and opinion all in the one place.”

“Our talent roster returns with Jack Riewoldt joining the ranks. He’s a strong media performer for someone fresh out of the game and we look forward to seeing the insights he can bring to our coverage.”

Kayo Sports also launched its new ‘Get on Board’ campaign on the weekend.
