Nine snares ratings week from Seven

Nine ends a seven-week ratings run by Seven, with The Block topping entertainment.

After a seven week run by Seven, Nine has snatched a ratings win, with the former without AFL in the back end of the week.

Seven News was the top drawcard of the week while The Block edged out The Voice in entertainment stakes.

Working Dog comedies scored for 10 while Tom Gleeson’s quiz led entertainment for ABC.

Nine won Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Seven led on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Seven won Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth. Nine claimed victory in Sydney & Brisbane.

    1. Seems harsh. Seven news consistently wins and during the blinds, the voice often just beat the block and was always competitive. 7 spotlight always competitive with 60 mins. AFL is important sure, but hardly all seven has.

      1. Indeed Bertrum. Sunrise, The Morning Show, The Chase Australia, 6pm news, The Voice, AFL just to name a few. Ryan claims no flow on benefit from the World Cup but I seem to remember this was also the case with Nine Network when the Olympics finished. Seven still have a lot of programs to launch. Nine only has the NRL Grand Final, the Cricket and The Block.
