Sandra Sully is Fawn on The Masked Singer

Is there anything Sandra Sully can’t do?

The 10 News First legend was unmasked as Fawn last night on The Masked Singer, with none of the guessing panel picking her correctly.

Instead they opted for Carrie Bickmore, Pip Edwards, Chloe Hayden and former Masked Singer panelist, Jackie O.

Dressed as Fawn she sang The Pussycat Dolls’ Don’t Cha, but lost out to Tiny’s rendition of Katrina and the Waves’ Walking on Sunshine.

“I read the news every night and tragedy happens all the time, really heavy stuff, but you do only live once. Life is short – don’t live a life of regret,” said Sully.

Barely a week ago Sully was MC at the Women in Conference event, postponing surgery for a broken hand for the weekend in order to keep her commitment.

She was back on deck on Monday with a bandaged hand.

  1. Is it just me or are the production values much poorer this year? It just doesn’t feel like previous years? The sets, props, amount of dancers all seem less than. The opening credits are different too, instead of a voice over, they’re now just using place cards.

    1. I agree there has clearly been a substantial budget cut. It does not seem to have affected the show too much as yet but I imagine a further cut for a future season could start to make the show fray at the edges.

  2. She was getting quite emotional when talking after her reveal.

How can anyone not love Sandra Sully? I did once know someone who claimed to have gone to school with her in Queensland. Said that even then she was just a lovely genuine person.

  3. I only watched the reveal out of the corner of my eye because I thought it was so obviously Carrie. The body language being the big giveaway. what a genuine surprise, love it.

  4. Amazing, best reveal so far.
And reading out “Don’t cha” news style was great.

Show complaint – the canned laughter and clapping is the worst I’ve ever seen. They clearly showed the audience from above multiple times just sitting, yet they were magically cheering and clapping at the same time.
