UK National TV Awards 2023: winners

Happy Valley was the big winner in publicly-voted UK television awards.

Winners have been announced in Britain’s National TV Awards.

These are publicly-voted awards, making them the UK equivalent of the Logies.

Happy Valley was the big winner, taking out the Returning Drama award and Sarah Lancashire for Drama Performance.

A Special Recognition Award also went to Lancashire, presented by Sir Ian McKellen.

There was a posthumous award to the late Paul O’Grady.

  1. Sarah Lancashire deserves every award. Simply amazing.
    EastEnders thoroughly deserved to swoop all three awards they were nominated for too. Seeing almost the entire cast there was something, especially with the likes of Letitia Dean and Steve McFadden actually turning up. So refreshing to see after the last few years. And whomever had the genius idea to have The Six attend wearing “their colours” and the male characters wearing the cufflinks – chef’s kiss. Absolute masterstroke in promotion.
