Swedish draka The Dark Heart, based on true event, is envisioned by the award-winning director Gustav Möller (The Guilty).

This is a 5 part series which stars Clara Christiansson Drake, Gustav Lindh, and Aliette Opheim.

In the summer of 2012, the Ljungqvists’ net worth is 50 million Swedish Krona. Then, suddenly, landowner Bengt Ljungqvist disappears without a trace from his farm in southern Sweden after a fight with his eldest daughter.

Two years later, Bengt Ljungqvist’s body is found and a murder investigation is begun. At the center of the drama is a forbidden love between Bengt’s daughter Sanna and the penniless neighbour’s son, Marcus. Frowned upon by everyone they know, their love is potent – and potentially deadly.

Episode One:
Sanna and Marcus’ families are in conflict. Missing Persons volunteer Tanja is given a new assignment: to search for a man who has been missing for two years.
