NRL Grand Final tops ratings week for Nine

NRL and The Block helped Nine to a clear ratings win, while MKR lifted for Seven.

The NRL Grand Final has driven Nine to a clear ratings win with the game drawing 2.05m viewers -that was well up on 2022’s low of 1.67m.

In Total TV , including Regional and BVOD, it attracted 3.404m viewers.

But it wasn’t Nine’s only hit with The Block retaining its position as highest rating reality show.

Meanwhile My Kitchen Rules wrapped with is best audience since 2019, with Seven now calling it “Australia’s #1 cooking show” having outranked the 2023 MasterChef grand final.

10’s The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity premiered to a figure better than any of the franchise’s 2022 season.

Nine led on Sunday, Monday, Thursday & Saturday. Seven claimed Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. ABC bettered 10 on Sunday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday.

Seven won in Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth. Nine claimed victory in Sydney & Brisbane.
